I understand that counselling can be a difficult process but you will be guided through this process in a gentle, caring and confidential manner.
Counselling can help you to let go of past issues and take back control of your life. It’s not a sign of weakness to seek help; it’s about investing in you as a person and will be one of the best decisions you will ever make in your life
How do I work?
I work non-judgementally and compassionately using the strategies that most suit my client’s needs.
I help clients to clarify issues, gain perspective, develop self-awareness and consider and implement choices that promote healing and wellbeing.
What Is Counselling ?
Counselling is more than just "talking" - its about directed talking with a counsellor about your issues.
It helps people to gain insight into areas of their lives which are causing them difficulty. The counsellor and client work together in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment which allows the client to have time and space to understand themselves.
Counsellors appreciate that past difficulties may cause a lot of emotional or relational distress. It allows clients to make sense of their issues and let go of unhelpful and negative thought patterns. It can also help clients to understand other people’s point of view.
